ST. ANDREW CHURCH

St. Andrew church was initially St. Andrew’s Presbyterian church. It was built in 1881 and 1882.

In 1925, the union of the Methodist, Presbyterian and Congregationalist churches became the United Church of Canada, which joined St. Andrew’s Presbyterian church community.

Then, dissident members founded St. Paul’s Presbyterian church on Albert Street. It was then converted into a community cafe and is now a private property.
