DONALD MORRISON PARK AND MUSEUM<\/h4>\n

This land was bequeathed to the municipality of Milan by Mrs. Christy MacArthur (Donald Morrison’s great-great-niece) in the 2000’s.<\/p>\n

The reproduction of Murdo Morrison’s house (1889) was established with the help of Mr. Gilles Morin and other citizens of Milan.<\/p>\n

The museum, for its part, was opened in 2016 following the initiative of a citizen, Mr. Bernard Grenier, assisted by many volunteers from Milan, by representatives from the Granite MRC and many sponsors.<\/p>\n

The Donald Morrison Park is a place to discover the life and history of Donald Morrison – The Megantic Outlaw – in various ways: whether it is with the discovery of old newspapers dating between 1889 and 1894, or by documentaries presented by the museum (in French and English).<\/p>\n
