SCOTT’S PARK

In the past, this place was a resort for the Scott family. At the time, it was a reference to the bog and stream that fed this swamp, the Brook bog, now the Loutre stream.

WE ARE READY TO WELCOME YOU!
We offer you 8.3 kilometers of multifunctional pathways, totaling 16.6 kilometers return trip. You can continue for another 4.5 kilometers, which is a direct extension of our path inside the Franceville sector of the Mont-Megantic National Park (PNMM) (Valley Path). This will lead you all the way to beavers’ stopover; this magnificent family hike totaling a little more than 25 kilometers (return trip) will be one of your favourite experiences, that’s for sure!

We offer parking lot access in three locations: Scotstown’s Walter-Mackenzie Park, the gazebo at McLeod’s stream’s discharge or in front of Franceville’s entrance to the PNMM. For the two parking lots located on Franceville road, continue for 4 kilometers past the village of Scotstown. Coming from the direction of Sherbrooke, by the 108 or the 112, take route 214 all the way to Scotstown.
